Martial Law Word of the Day — terms that might confuse generations that never experienced Marcos’ brutality, but had meant life or death to the victims.

Anything that is excessively extravagant to the point of vulgarity can be called “Imeldific”. It also refers to persons who have “the Imelda Marcos Syndrome” or those who tend to depict a lifestyle of ostentatious opulence and not ashamed to flaunt it. The word has been added in some international dictionaries.
